Hello Brides!

We are getting so excited for your big day!  I'm sure your getting pumped and taking care of all the last minute details. and we hope it's all going smoothly for you!

I wanted to send one last email with all of our current policies and needs while we work with you on your day.  I don't want it to be something you even have to think about on your wedding day, so I wanted to send it via email, ahead of time.

Please understand that while you and your bridal party and family are able to be comfortable around each other on your wedding day, (and we are so so happy that you are now able to do that!) that this is our work environment and we want to keep it a safe one!

Moving Forward As Planned

In the event that there is not a federal, state, or municipal mandated shutdown of salons/cosmetology businesses or a mandatory “shelter in place” quarantine, Ariel Katrina Hair is committed to moving forward with your wedding as planned. To move forward, both parties (i.e. Ariel Katrina Hair and all clients planning to receive hair services), must meet these standards and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

TRIALS

Ariel Katrina Hair is now holding trials on a need to have basis in order of wedding dates and will be held in a studio in Norristown, PA.

Masks are required for all trials (no exceptions), and for the time being, we ask that our brides come alone and not with a guest.

Sanitary Actions

Safety is at the forefront of our minds and we will be taking every precaution for our clients and stylists safety.

A few things we need:

  • A private space to work, where ONLY the person getting their hair done is n.  We have been enforcing this policy ahead of time but have found ourselves being in a tight space surrounded by bridesmaids without masks, so I want to explain that up front!  We are following CDC guidelines and the guidelines for salons.  Salons are only allowing the person getting services in the area and no extra guests, we will be following the same guideline.

  • We are wearing masks, and some of us are wearing face shields to not only keep ourselves safe, but you and your bridal party as well!  We require every person getting their hair done to wear a mask, even if their makeup haw already been done.

  • We are thoroughly sanitizing our tools and work spaces before, during, and after each wedding and bridal party member.  We might take a few extra minutes to make sure everything is clean before working with our next guest.

  • We are now asking that all of our brides share this information with each family member and bridesmaid.  We have found that most of our brides are awesome with our requests, but many of the party members aren't aware and are putting us in sticky situations.

Date Postponement

I am committed to helping all of our brides that choose to postpone their weddings to the best of our ability. Most weddings that have been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic have been successfully rescheduled with our team!

For Brides Postponing

If you choose to postpone to later in 2020 or 2021, and if an AK har stylist is available on your new wedding date, we will credit the already paid deposit toward the new contract. Both parties will be required to sign a new contract confirming the new wedding date.

If your Lead Stylist is not available on your new wedding date I will first provide another Ariel Katrina Hair stylist. If no stylists are available from our team, I will work with you on an individual basis to cancel our services and recommend one of our trusted industry colleagues.

As our contract states, deposits are non refundable.

Cancellations and REFUNDS

If anyone in the bridal party becomes sick, cancellations will be accepted 24 hours or more prior to the schedule service. Fifty percent of that service payment will be refunded. Our stylists reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that appears to be ill. Due to COVID-10, we will not be servicing anyone that is ill.

In the event you cancel your wedding and have made payments, 50% of payments made will be refunded. Deposits are non refundable.
